Ummm..guys. Please note my best accessory as of late…my brand new ENGAGEMENT RING! Whaaaat. If you have missed me attacking Instagram with my posts this past week, Will proposed last Thursday night at Lake Summit in North Carolina in front of my entire family, and in the pouring rain. Magical is honestly the only way I can describe it. My family has been going to Lake Summit every year since before I was born, and a piece of my soul truly lives in that water. Needless to say, it was incredibly special to me and I couldn’t say yes fast enough! Will is the most selfless (he proposed on his own 30th birthday, for example!), caring, hilarious, and dangerously good looking man I have ever met and I still can’t believe that I get to call him mine. I am feeling extra thankful, that is for sure. I only wish my dad could have met him.
OKAY. Back to the fashion. We are off to Florida this weekend to continue celebrating Will’s birthday AND our engagement with his family. #AllTheChampagne Naturally, I have used this trip as an excuse to buy 143 new swimsuits, including this sassy little nude cheapie. [EDITOR’S NOTE: This was written Friday, but I couldn’t get it together in time. EYE ROLL.]
Last but not least, the ONE thing I splurged for in the Nordstrom anniversary pre-sale is this baby right here. Can’t wait to test her out in the FL humidity this weekend! SIZE GUIDE:
I am wearing a size small in the swimsuit and a size 2 in the shorts. The pearl sandals run a half-size big, so I recommend sizing down a halfsie.
