This might sound strange, but I think one of my very favorite parts of our wedding were the favors! Having a small wedding allowed me to spend a little extra time on the favors and make them a little more personalized than I would have been able to with a large invite list. You may or may not know this about me, but I love to craft. Seriously! I get a lot of joy out of putting something unexpected and personalized together for someone I love, and being able to do that for our entire wedding party was really special to me.
WEDDING DAY CARDS by LongShadow Paper Company
‘ANGELS’ LOCKET NECKLACE
I found this beautiful locket necklace for my mom and added photos of my uncle Will and our sweet cat Max that we just lost this year. I also fell head over heels in love with these fun tassel earrings by Finola. I thought they were the perfect mix of wedding and party…just like our day!
IN-LAWS TO BE:
CUSTOM ‘WEDDING DAY’ MINI CHAMPAGNE LABELS (one of my FAVORITE things I did!)
I fell in love with this sweet necklace for my mother in-law, Dede. I love the message it sends about us being forever connected.
Will found these for his brother and his dad! These would be a perfect groomsmen gift, but also a great stocking stuffer!
Do you guys realize Christmas is NEXT MONTH? I cannot.
Jody, Will & and their dad, Joel.
Will’s sister (and now mine!), Rebecca.
PERSONALIZED MAKE-UP BAGS for my new sisters-in-law (Would be a great bridesmaid’s gift!)
Kicking myself for not taking a pic of these. They’re SO cute and less than $20 a piece! I chose the ‘Katherine’ design.
FOR MY GROOM:
A little pre-wedding Groom’s treat!
Speaking of gifts, one of the very best parts of getting married is registering! We registered through WeddingWire at Target and Bloomingdale’s, which were both wonderful and super easy to use. They each have apps, AND let you register online, so we cuddled up on the couch with a glass of wine and registered from the comfort of our couch! #CocoApproved We also used Honeyfund, which allowed relatives to buy us treats on our honeymoon, like a bottle of champagne and a couple’s massage! I would highly recommend all three if you are struggling with where to start.
These were by far my favorite post-wedding treat! What could be better than celebrating your first day as Mr. & Mrs. in matching bomber jackets?! I do not know.
