Hi kittens! Happy Happy FRI-YAY! I am working a half-day today, and then hitting the road for a baby shower weekend in Fernandina Beach, Florida. MUCH. NEEDED. Bring on the sunshine. I had a few extra minutes, so I thought I'd share my packing list! It's gonna be warm during the day, but cooler temps at night, so I pretty much just packed everything I own per usual. Honestly, why do I act like there are there even seasons.
It's 29 degrees in Atlanta today, so this weekend couldn't have come at a better time! I snagged this pair of sunnies before the weekend and get this...they are men's. HA! Whatever, can sunglasses even have a sex? I think not. If you follow me on IG, you saw I also got this mega-free pair this week. Can never ever have too many pairs, fact.
I packed mostly comfy lounge-wear like this sweater, and my favorite cheapie black shorts. I am wearing a navy blue version of the black jumpsuit (#7) above to the shower, because ya know..it's a boy! :) i love a jumpsuit for an out-of-town event because it's just one piece and takes up almost zero room in your suitcase. I also ALWAYS bring my hand steamer to fix any wrinkles caused by travel. Fun fact: ya girl CANNOT iron.
Hope you guys have a great weekend! Back soon, PROMISE.
Y'all will have to excuse the shortness of this shoot! I had the flu ALL last week (horrible!!) and the couch was as far as I could move. Will was sweet enough to help me snap these. My current obsession with all things velvet is very, very real. It is such a cozy material, you could literally wear this dress to bed or to a party. Love that! You probably saw my NYE coat, but here are a few more velvety goodies i am itching to get my paws on! Could you DIE over that jacket?! I would pair it with this faux fur clutch. NEED NEED NEED.
New Year's Eve is the absolute MOST fun night to dress for in my humble little opinion. I love the glitz and I live for champagne. The hunt for the perfect outfit never stops. I went out in search of this leather romper , but it was nowhere to be found (tear!) and I ended up with this pencil skirt instead. (It was cheaper! Winning.)
I am envisioning wearing it with a lace bralette top like this one. Don't you love when you have an outfit in your head and it ends up working!? Literally makes me feel like Rachel Zoe. Now I just need to figure out my shoe situation. Maybe these?
What are your plans for NYE!? I can't wait to see ya, 2017.
Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Thank you all so much for following this little dream of mine for another year. I am so thankful for the time I was able to spend with family, friends, and with all of YOU. Merry Merry Lateish, my Gilties. All my love!

My Christmas babies!! How are you ho-ho-holding up? I am recovering from being on my deathbed in this robe, yet again, with a sinus infection. Can I get a new nose? Like, is mine just not big enough to endure daily life? I just cannot. Anyway, I am on the mend thanks to a ton of real meth-filled Sudafed and enough Theraflus to float the Titanic, and that means I am back to YOU! All the merry feels. I am probably still gonna wear the robe though. Ok.
Today, I am collab-ing with make-up guru and gorgie extraordinaire, Sarah Elizabeth. We teamed up to bring you a festive, but casual Christmas look with a little red lip for extra edge. Sarah slays the make-up game and you can watch her full tutorial on how to achieve this look HERE. You should also follow her on Instagram while we're at it. You can find her here at @mkupwithsarah.
I am headed home to SC tomorrow and will definitely be rocking something very similar to this look all weekend long. In fact, I just got this sweater and can't wait to take it for a test drive. Hope you all have the best Christmas EVER! I already am and it hasn't even gotten here yet!

This is one of my new favorite looks, hands down. I always say that, don't I? Oh well, the second I throw this coat on, I feel put together. I am literally wearing a $5 tank and sweatpant-material joggers! Comfort level one hundred. I have been wearing this hat nonstop this winter. I even bought it in both faux-leather and this regular cloth material. Just can't seem to get enough of the athleisure trend, I hope it never leaves us! I also hope you never leave me. K? #cuzillfindyou

#HIBOYS! Like I could ever forget you!
They spoil us year-round, we can't forget to splurge a little on the m-e-n in our lives from time to time, especially at Christmas! These are my faves for tha boyz.
First off, I subscribed to Dollar Shave Club for myself and it's amazing! I can't use the blades fast enough before more are coming in, which is a total switch from when I didn't want to spend the money to replace a single one. This is definitely the gift that keeps on giving. If you give it to enough friends, you will also get a discount. Win, win, win.
Obviously, we all know the wonders of the Yeti cooler, but I love this lightweight 'hopper' version which is perfect for beach days and lake nights, and will even keep your hot beverages on temp during this arctic blast. While your mind is on travel, check out the Bose Soundlink Mini. I have the gray version and we have literally taken it on every trip we've been on this year. It's compact, but you can't beat that Bose sound. Definitely worth the investment!
Will doesn't know it yet, but I definitely see us rocking matching Adidas 'superstar' sneaks in the very near future. #solemates Speaking of Will, I got him the LV cardholder for his birthday in July and he has loved it! He is not a fan of bulky wallets, and this little cutie has been the perfect solution. It's no coincidence that it is stocking-sized.
Finally, it wouldn't be a #blogger #gift #guide without something personalized, let's be honest. I love this whiskey barrel idea for a man cave! Even if it goes unused (which it won't), it makes for a great focal piece on any bar. There you have it babes, go forth and shop. The men in your life will thank you.

Just call me Harri-ana Grande in this sass-filled 'fit. Showing a little leg heading into the weekend in this cute oversized sweatshirt I snagged at H&M over the weekend. SUPER ANNOYING that I can't find it online, but I found a similar one for the same price on Etsy, tagged above!
My man is finally back in town from his new job training and I cannot waiiit to have a weekend home with him. It's been a sad, rough week for my family, and I am so thankful to have him back just in time for a little break. Much much needed. Stay tuned to Instagram tomorrow for my first holiday party look of the season! Hope you guys have a great weekend!
I always feel like I am running so late with my gift guides because of all the bloggers I follow, but there is something inside of me that will NOT let me do it before December. I just can't! I always want to make sure all my suggestions are things that I truly would want (or do want! haha) for myself, so I just take a little extra time building them for you guys. EW, I LOVE YOU OKAY!? All of these are less than $100, just in case you need to spent that extra $5.99 on express shipping.

I am dying to get my hands..well my head...on a Slip silk pillowcase like YESTERDAY. It is supposed to do wonders for your hair and for your skin and now that I am elderly, I am all about the skin. Gotta preserve this canvas, y'all.
Speaking of how I look in the mirror, I cannot get enough of my Beauty Bank you guys. Having a compact that lights up is totally life-changing. Don't forget to use code 'harrison10' for 10% off yours!
Last but not least, if you haven't tried Sephora's newest brand of leg illuminator, you are seriously missing out. You have seen this stuff all over my snapchat (@harrisonsapp4), I slathered it on my entire body in the Bahamas, but it's basically the way to get supermodel glowy legs in 3 steps without leaving your bathroom. It is named for what it does people, because you will be YELLING Hello to Sexy Legs. You can even watch their video on how to apply their products here, and who doesn't love a good tutorial!?
Happy Shopping, Gilties.
It's almost Thanksgiving and I, for one, cannot wait. I love Thanksgiving food, I love dressing for comfort/maximum food intake, and most of all, I love Thanksgiving SALES! I am not like a wake-up at 4am and stand in line type of Turkey Day shopper, but I do like to do a little browsing after I have had my fill of Sister Schubert dinner rolls, okay?
This outfit is perfect for both the dinner table (just lose the hat or your grandma might die) and the mall afterwards, although I will probably change into these sneaks for the shopping portion of the day.
I snagged this sweater because even though I love the idea of a turtleneck, some can be so strangle-ish! Maybe I have a thick neck? Idk, but the mock-neck is so much easier to wear all day long. My second choice would be this onesie...but ya know, that would be weird. Ehm. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! I'm thankful you like to read this little site of mine.

CRISS CROSS OLIVE GREEN BIKINI / BODY CHAIN / WHITE PANAMA HAT / INITIAL EARRING / '86 NECKLACE / ROSE GOLD BANGLE / GOLD SLIDE SANDALS (TARGET) SIMILAR HERE / SUNGLASSES / FRINGE COVER-UP (SPRAY STUDIO) SIMILAR HERE
I know, I know...we are just now coming to terms with the cooler temps and here I am throwing a bikini at you. What is that about!? I'm sorry, I really have no excuse other than the fact that I miss the Bahamas so much I could cry, and also that this entire suit cost me $19.99.
*For reference, I bought a medium because I was worried it might run small and it was actually a little roomier than I would have wanted it to be, so I would say it runs true to size.*
Also, in keeping with the tropical theme, I am hosting a little palm print giveaway! Enter below to win this cute iPhone 7 case from Casetify, retail value $40. It will run until Sunday, so make sure to take advantage!
At this point, I should really just be sponsored fully by Express and Steve Madden. Can somebody work that out for me? I ordered this sweater for work, but when it came in, it was practically hanging there BEGGING me to pair it with my favorite cut-offs at least once before it got too cold. This sweater/shorts combo is one that I am always drawn to in photos. It is covered up and functional, but leaves a little flash of skin for an unexpectedly sexy twist on the old faithful denim and boots combo. I would do this same look with a long cardigan like this one. Ah! I just wish it would stay 65 degrees a littttttle longer.
Perfect outfit for meeting a girlfriend for coffee, or for a fall festival outside before the temps really drop. Maybe skip it if you are meeting the parents though, they may not be able to see past the Julia Roberts-esque boot-to-thigh ratio. File that under #GILTYtips.
Lastly, one to add to your wish list or to gift to your best...the beauty bank is the cutest little lighted compact mirror that will even..are you ready for this? CHARGE YOUR PHONE! No more fear of Snapchat sucking that battery dry. Apply your lip gloss with confidence, even in the dark! Use it as lighting for your selfie! The options are endless. What's even better!? It comes in four colors. I got the gold one, because duh. My girls at Fifth and Ninth really hit it out of the park on this one. (On that note, THANK GOD the World Series is over, am I right??)

Did we all survive Election Day?! I hid behind a bottle of pinot noir and a frozen pizza and was perfectly happy with both of those ballot choices. Today I am bringing you a little transitional cape look because if your weather is anything like Atlanta's right now, you have no idea what to wear comfortably from morning until night.
A cape is the perfect outfit topper --- easy to throw on, will keep you warm, and can even hide a stain if you happen to spill your morning latte. ME. I DID THAT. In a pinch, you can even use it as a blanket. Oh layers, I have missed you so!
Don't forget to use code 'GACShopAlix' for 15% off your order at www.shopalix.com!
I am a self-admitted sneakerhead, but these pommed babies HAVE GOT to be my favorite purchase of 2016. Can I say that!? Under $100 and totally chic, these little softies look great with leather leggings, skinny jeans and even jogger sweats. MY DREAM SHOE. I imagine them being on heavy rotation in my wardrobe, especially when it comes to weekends and travel looks. My mom said they look like I am wearing my cat. haha! Why does that make me love them more!? For the recoard, no animals were harmed with the making of this blog post.
I am borderline out of money at all times....but I am also borderline shopping at all times, so I am always on the hunt for a good deal. When I saw this picture on Pinterest (where all good ideas are born), I KNEW I wanted to recreate a similar look in the Bahamas, so I started my hunt. Enter the Legend Boho statement necklace from Happiness Boutique. Less than $30? I am so there. Feels very vintage Britney to me, and that is always a win in my book.
Happy (post) Halloween, kittens! Hope everyone had a great weekend. This year I was a unicorn, and it was by far one of my favorite costumes yet. I'll be back later this week with more wearable outfits, PROMISE. haha XO

Happy Friday, babes! I am off bright and early this morning on a birthday trip with the boyf (make sure you are following along on Snapchat and Instagram! @harrisonsapp4 and @giltyaschgd), but first, I am bringing you fall realness in the best way. The lace-up detailing on this sweater was way too cute to pass up!
As always, use my code 'GACShopAlix' for 15% off your entire order at shopalix.com!
GUYS. Ish is getting VERY real over here this month. I am turning THIRTY. THREE-ZERO. Send help. Send Botox. Send prayers. Or just send any of the items from the above wish list would be fine, if we are being logical. Now you see why $115 eye masks are suddenly on my list these days. Make way for the ELDERLY.
First of all, can we just talk about the caliber of bags that Aldo is offering these days?! I loved everything I saw in that store! I drooled over both the grey and black versions of the chain bag pictured above, but it also comes in a really pretty wine color as well. I see you, Aldo.
I have been eyeing the Cluse watches ever since they started popping up on my Instagram ads (I guess those work?) and I especially love this grey and rose gold combo that I could wear all winter long, PLUS I could use it to count the minutes of how rapidly I am now aging. Win win.
This little marble tray from Target is meant for the kitchen, but I think it would also be a great bathroom accessory home for a little dish of matches and a soap dispenser.
I know it says birthday, but I really keep a wish list going all year round. It's kind of fun to look back and see what you wanted, or cross off things you have gotten! It's a nice reminder of how hard you have worked during the year and how hard you need to work to get that lust list item you can't stop thinking about. Either way, take comfort in knowing that I will be somewhere in a well-dressed corner (most likely at a Target), listening to Drake, sipping wine and commiserating right along with you. #CHEERSTOTHIRTY
The iPhone 7 is finallyyyy here and we all know I am just in it for the camera, ya heard? I truly don't know what all my phone can do, but I do know a thing or two about taking a good insta. I should honestly probably get a real hobby, my life is so sad. Well anywayy, if you're like me, 'cute' trumps functional in this CASE. OMG-guys really, getting a hobby asap. I spent far longer than I would care to admit combing all 100 pages...literally ONE HUNDRED...of Casetify to find you my picks. I bought two for myself!
If you are just now upgrading to the 6, don't fret, you can get this and I will be forever jealous.
Fall is finally, officially here! I know closet enthusiasts everywhere are as excited as I am because there's so much to love about fall fashion. Of course, I'll have a hard time giving up my summer sandals (like these!!), but I'm just as excited to test drive some new cool-weather looks. That's probably the best part about the change in seasons--an excuse to constantly change your wardrobe..aka an excuse to SHOP. With that being said, I am doing my annual closet overhaul and making room for some serious fall footwear.
Fall footwear means one thing to me: boots. Boots are my FAVORITE. Can you feel me screaming?? There are so many different styles and trends to suit just about everyone's personal look, and every budget as well. Here is the only boot guide you will need to move you seamlessly into fall and beyond. Get to steppin.' (Click each pair to shop!)
Some of the coolest boot styles out there, ankle boots should be your go-to's this season when wearing everything from shorts, to dresses and, of course, denim. Reaching from one to four inches above your ankle, these mini boots have transformed into all kinds of trendy styles that are sure to make you swoon. Fresh fabrics like velvet and shiny leather have also been making an appearance on the scene this year if you're feeling a little more adventurous. Need a little more proof? Footwear News recently named five more trends 'that make ankle boots exciting again.' Here are a few pairs to add to your closet:
When in doubt, throw on booties. This is probably my favorite category right now because it is the one category I am actually currently shopping for myself. Oops, sorry. #selfish Like any good shopping-crazed lunatic on the hunt, I have scoured Pinterest gathering inspiration, I have searched Lyst where I found all kinds of bootie-and-denim combos, and I have stared at countless stranger's Instagrams in search of the perfect style for me. Here is what I have narrowed it down to so far. Which ones are your faves? Help me, help you.
We saw a rise (get it? k.) in thigh-high boots last year, and these babies don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Thank God for that, because I have 472 pairs. I'm exaggerating...sort of. OTK boots were considered to be an adventurous choice in years past...ehm, Pretty Woman anyone?..but today, these thigh-grazers are just as much of a staple as your favorite jeans. Trust me, nothing takes an outfit from dull to chic faster than a pair of these boots. Not to mention that they add an extra layer of warmth when temps start to drop. Obviously these beauties are the be-all end-all, but here are my top picks under $250:
I got this pair for myself during the #NSale and I can't wait to break them out without having a full-on heat stroke. Can you guys believe it's almost October?! Birthday month, coming in hot!
